Cyberknife Success and Ceesun
Hello Everyone, Yesterday I had my visit with the radiation oncologist who did my cyberknife just before Thanksgiving. He reported that my tumor shrunk to half its size and was now a ball of scar tissue and dead cells. He was quite pleased and I am very relieved. He said the other lung was all clear. He added that when I have my next scan in March or April there may be a halo around the tumor and that is not cancer!! He is sending a letter to my oncologist since they are from different hospitals. Maybe if there wasn't the delay due to the flood at my primary hospital all traces would be gone...who knows? He said "I"m here if you need me again." My lungs have not been clear since 2006 so yipppppeee skipeeeeeeeee!! Cathy
