Re: When People Want to Help: Say "YES"!

Great post and yes it is important to ask for help but it is also difficult. There were a couple of post about cancer etiquette - what to say to someone with cancer and also how to help someone with cancer that were very good. Too often people want to help but don't know what to do or say.
thanks for reminding us to ask or to accept help.

Re: When People Want to Help: Say "YES"!

Paula one of the first things I tell someone who has been newly diagnosed is:

People will offer to help - LET THEM. This is no time to be a superhero - and people genuinely want to help - bring on those casseroles, picking up the kids after school, coming in to do your laundry etc.

all the best
