Sun exposure

We just returned from Cancun on Saturday night. We stayed at a fabulous resort we love down there, it's our 4th trip to the same location.

We went scuba diving, snorkeling, sightseeing, shopping and spent time in their awesome spa. We had warm, sunny weather the whole week.

For those of you on Tykerb/Xeloda, I am here to tell you that the sun exacerbates the skin side effects. I ended up using a Neutrogena 55 spf lotion and it was fine after that.

I am glad you had a wonderful time. Living in Florida I have learned all to well with every chemotherapy treatment to use sun screen. I am glad you brought this up as many take warm holidays and forget that the sun is powerful year round. I hope you are doing well and wish you the best.
