Friend taking PARP Inhibitors
Had a visit from my friend yesterday and she enrolled in the PARP inhibitor trial at Stanford. She is BRCA positive, ovarian cancer.
Drove 12 hours by herself to participate. Taking tablets twice a day. Having nausea issues - but insist it is so much better than chemo.
She said the doctors told her that more tumors have BRCAness that just those that test positive.
I am so excited she has enrolled in a clinical trial.
