Hi Lindsey,
Don't even think for a minute that you're invading by posting here, this site is for support of all involved with breast cancer, family and loved ones of the patient very much included! My daughter is 28 and very involved in my treatments, also.
I'm so sorry your family has had such a shock with your mom's brain met, but thank god that she was proactive in getting the diagnosis, so it can be treated. We have many members who are survivors of brain mets. Please keep us posted on your mom's course of treatment, as we all learn from each other, and thanks for sharing your mom's story as it will help to reinforce the belief that a proactive approach to diagnosis and treatment of brain mets is the key to survival. Take care and give your mom a hug.
Love, Lolly
