Re: trials

Hi VG. You can ask your doctor and/or research/protocol nurse (if there is such a thing where you are getting care).

You can check out websites:

clinicaltrials.gov

You would search by what you're looking for. I'm sorry I don't remember where you are in this experience. For example, you'd start with "breast cancer", and add in HER2 and/or the specific drug of interest. If you're dealing with advanced disease, you'd put "metastatic" or "stage IV", or "advanced disease". Etc.

This one is specific to breast cancer and looks like it may have a few more prompts to help narrow the search:

https://www.breastcancertrials.org/bct_nation/home.seam

Here's yet another option. I have not used it but it looks like it will attempt to do much of the work for you:

Others will chime in with their experience with the various online search engines. There is also the clinical trails forum on this website. Good luck!

Re: trials

OH Yeah!

I hope you find one. The faster we enroll, the faster new treatments are available. A 5 year trial can take 10 years due to slow enrollment.
