My heart is saddened with Lisa's passing. She was was an inspiration to so many women here, offering so much support and empathy. She's very fortunate to have had such a loving, concerned caregiver in Mel. My deepest sympathy to her family. May her light continue to shine brightly.

I'm so sorry to hear this, but also relieved to know that she is out of pain and no longer suffering. I hate this disease.

My sympathies to Mel and to everyone in Lisa's family. I will miss her presence on these boards.

Dear Mel,
You have my fullest sympathy. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you. I only knew Lisa from this board, and she was such a support, love, and uplifting person, never willing to give up. She was one beautiful person. Please know that you are in my thoughts and that of many who knew her here feel the same way.
Sincerely,
Barbara H.

Love and prayers to you Mel, and to your family. Lisa's legacy is one of love and joy spread about, even in the most difficult of circumstances. This takes a very special person, a very selfless and courageous person. We will miss her greatly here.

Dear Mel-

I woke up this morning thinking about Lisa...
When I first came to this website, I saw her picture and I saw myself- She and I resemble one another quite a bit! I even mentioned to her on one post how we looked alike- Maybe that is why I really feel your loss.
I am so sorry.

Lisa will be remembered. She made a positive impact in so many ways. Truly a blessing to all who were priviledged to experience her "Love and light".

It is wonderful to hear that her last moments were painfree, surrounded by the loves of her life.

With most sincere condolences,

I am so sorry to hear of Lisa's passing for Mel and Lisa's mother. I'm happy that Lisa's dad will welcome her with open arms on the other side, since he's not been gone that long. What a great inspiration she was, and this entire board will miss her.

Thank you Christine for letting us know of Lisa's passing. As Gary and I prayed for Lisa and Mel last night, I was reminded of how important and special each life really is. I find it impossible to blow out Lisa's candle. As it burns, I am reminded to keep on praying for each of us to find victory over BC. God Bless Mel and all of Lisa's family and friends, especially during this holiday season.

truely missed

Mel, I am very sorry for your loss. Lisa helped me get through my first 2 years of dealing with this nasty disease. She was always very informative, helpful, loving and up-beat about anything discussed. Lisa has inspired me to be open minded and hopeful. I will miss her smiling face and her quit wit. Please try to have a peaceful holiday. She will always be a Christmas angel to me. Sally

So unspeakable, and so unfair. I am sad and angry. She will be missed as one of our "sisters" on this board. I am hopeful that she is at peace and in the good company of her father.
