Breastcancer.org is having an Ask the Expert conference tomorrow on Vitamins and Herbal Supplements. All the info follows for anyone who is interested.
The world of vitamins and herbal supplements can be a confusing place, especially if you're being treated for breast cancer. You may see advertisements for vitamins and herbs that are said to "prevent" cancer or statements about "alternative" herbal treatments for cancer, but the truth is, no vitamin or herbal supplement can prevent, treat, or cure cancer.
Even so, some supplements do provide benefits. But with so many kinds and so many claims, how can you know the difference between helpful and harmful supplements?
Join us tomorrow night, Wednesday, July 18th, between 9:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)* (2:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. GMT July 19th) for this month's Ask-the-Expert Online Conference: Vitamins and Herbal Supplements.
If you'd like to ask a question for our VITAMINS AND HERBAL SUPPLEMENTS conference but will not be able to join the conference tomorrow, you can submit your question now at:
http://chat.liveworld.com<WBR>/events/chat/ibreast/
We'll answer as many questions as we can during the conference. A conference transcript will be posted at
breastcancer.org by July 27th, 2007.
