Corona Virus

Hello Friends,

How are infusion centers and oncologists responding to Corona Virus? Are they taking extra precautions for patients?

Thanks

Re: Corona Virus

I'm not currently getting infusions but I do have an appointment in a couple of weeks and I got something from the hospital (can't remember exactly the method they used) that basically said if you've recently traveled internationally or if you even think you might have been exposed, don't come in. They want to ensure the health and safety of the patients as well as their staff. So I would say yes, they are taking extra precautions - or at least they're trying to.

Re: Corona Virus

I had a Prolia infusion recently. Only extra precaution was everyone was wearing a mask in the treatment room plus temp check prior to being let into the building.
