Triple negative info, anyone?

A good friend of mine has a sister just diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. She is lost and desperate and doesn't feel she is prepared to make decisions. If anyone knows anything about it or has some good research, I would really appreciate the posts that I can print for her or give her this site link.

Thanks, Steph

tripple negative

Hi Steph,
I went to the METS conference at the Dana Farber in May and and learned that they are discovering much more about triple negative breast cancer, and sometimes specific drugs or different combined drugs work better for this specific type of cancer. Therefore I would suggest that your friend at least consult an oncologist at a major cancer center who has a specific interest in triple negative breast cancer.
Best,
Barbara H
