Meet the Americans..

My intial post disappeared byt here is a quick update on my trips to the States, Steph and I had a great lunch and I got to visit their (+Emile) impressive wine shop..complete with French hubby!! Just like home away from home.. (!) Thank you again Steff and I will see you again next time hopefully with Suzanne too.

I will not be visiting any other cities next time as I started to find the whole process physically and mentally demanding. However I am staying around Seattle/ Vancouver. I am staying at a retreat 1.5h from Seattle and I have also met quite a few people to go out with, visit, hiking when I come up, which is great.

In brief, I can say one thing, The States was never really on my list of countries to visit but and I love it; you have a trully beautiful country and friendly people.

Sxxx,
Well, welcome and we hope you come back sometime just for fun without treatments! The Grand Canyon is truly worth a visit sometime...although, I too have had the treat of meeting Steph and Emile for dinner and that is such a warm and welcoming visit it is hard to beat!
Love Kim from CT

Wink

Full and Mama -

As several of you U of W vaccine participants know, I am somewhat of a "people person" and really like meeting as many of my Sisters in the Fight when you are here wandering around in our big city.
For me you have all been delightful, high quality, educated women who have an interest in cancer as well as life outside cancer. This region has a lot to offer nature lovers, as well as some culture.

When I travel it is always great to see how the locals live and to get out of the main tourist routine.

Hope to see you both again and anyone else coming to Seattle for the vaccine trials or any other reason!

Finally!!!

I'm delighted that you and StephN and Emile and Suzanne met, and am sure there was a deluge of French when you did!
