FREEDOM FREEDOM FREEDOM FREEDOM I had a check-up with my onc on July 4th and she has set me free!!!!!!! No more trips to the Cancer Centre ... check-ups with my family doctor here at home ... YEE HAW !!!!
I feel normal.

ETA: When I fininshed Herceptin in July 08 we had an "Independence from Treatment Party" in conjunction with our 4th of July in the states. No reason you cant do the same!

Herceptin started again on 27th Dec 2012.Xeloda stopped Navelbin added on 7th February 2013.Now on Tykerb Herceptin and Navelbin

3-23-10 Ten days of rads to RT femur. Completed.
4-05-10 Quit Navelbine--Herceptin/Zometa alone.
5-4-10 Appt. with Dr. Slamon to see what is next? Waiting on FISH results from femur biopsy.
Results to FISH was unsuccessful--this happens less then 2% of the time.
7-7-10 Recurrence to RT axilla again. Back to UCLA for options.
