Paxlovid and other covid treatments.

XBB1.5 The most infectious variant to date is becoming dominant in the US. Yet, it seems people are not taking covid seriously anymore. So we have to be even more on-guard. The Jama article below shows we need to be self-inform.

All of the currently (1/17/23) available antibody based regimens do not work against it.

I hope that you have received the bi-valent vaccine booster shot. Limited current data seems to indicates Moderna is better than Pfizer. Regardless, bi-valent booster shot from both Pfizer and Moderna work better as compared to previous booster against XBB1.5.

Note that screening checklist below includes drugs that interact with Paxlovid.
