Wonderful news, Eric. I'm SO glad to hear it and my prayers and good thoughts for you and your family (and for everyone in every post that I read) will continue. How is Caryn feeling, both physically and about this good news?

However, (I always seem to have a "however" ... hmmm).

I don't think that there needs to be a scheduled time to send heart links and prayers. I think that our healing thoughts are of equal value whenever they are felt and sent. As long as we stop and find our own place of stillness. Rituals like lighting candles or sitting in prayer do help us to connect with that sacred place. But that can be on our own schedule, don't you think?

I don't ask for an outcome when I pray or meditate. I guess I'm afraid to tempt fate or be greedy. Other people tell me that we should ask for specifics yet be willing to accept what comes. I ask for vague things like strength or love, but not for specifics like "better scans" or "cure the cancer". That just feels presumptuous or too bold to me. I'm not saying that this is the "right" way to do it - there are countless right ways to do this as long as we're connected in our hearts. I'm just reporting my way, and grateful that each of us has connected in whatever way is our way. It's all the same, right?

Love,
Debbie Laxague

Dearest Eric,
Miracles do happen! I have not stopped praying for Caryn since you first posted and I will continue. Your suggestion of prayers for all on Wed is such a wonderful idea and so selfless. Thank you for thinking of others in the midst of your own trials for we are all in this together. I lift up my voice to God and the universe in deep gratitude for Caryn's progress today. I love this life, this group of friends, and the goodwill that is spread so far and wide from our computers as we sit in our homes and evolve through prayer for one another.
Thank you, dear God, for loving us so much, Vickie

I think that's a wonderful idea. Every night when I pray, I pray for this group and pray that God will send down an angel, or put the knowledge in some doctors head that will find a cure for cancer. I do believe God listens to prayers. I am glad to hear caryn is doing better...sherryg
