If you saw this or can find it on line, I found it interesting. Most of the information you may already know, but I think the cancer story they told was educational for the public. I particularly like the segment with women who have formed a support group to celebrate their "flatness" after double mastectomies. As we have discussed on this forum before, whatever surgery you have and if it is with or without reconstruction it is the right one for you!

Found my own lump in the shower
April 2006 at the age of 58
Stage IIB, ER- PR- HER2+++ multi focal tumors, largest 2.3cm
Chemo first: AC/Taxol over 16 weeks
Bilateral mastectomy Sep 06
33 rads after the surgery
1 year of Herceptin completed Dec 07
15 years and no recurrence as of April 2021
