Tricia, Congratulations on being 4 years out and NED. Your story truly tops the list as one of the most encouraging & inspirational to me. I remember the first time I joined this board and ran across your story...words can't explain the hope you story gave me. Your a true warrior and then some.
Your such a positive person and I always smile when I see your smiling face. It makes my day. Your one very amazing women. Thanks for sticking around here and letting newbies and others see your story...its such a uplifting and positive one and its so needed. Go out and celebrate with that family of yours because you deserve it. God bless you.

Thanks, fellow warriors! My onc of 20+ years is more surprised than I am! I have 9 children, 32 grandchildren, and now 32 great-grandchildren, with #33 due in October. Yes, I think that great family (and a wonderful husband) keeps me going. The only thing is, they are so used to me beating the odds, that no one's going to believe it if the day comes I don't. My brother-in-law said after my last close call with heart problems "You should will your body to science for study after you die...IF you ever die!" I am writing my life story so have to live long enough to finish that. ( I write slowly on purpose!) You are all great, and in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Tricia

Dear Tricia -
Congratulations on working through writing your life story. You must have some very interesting incidents from your long career as mother and "shrink" (can I say that?) to so many over the years.
And honestly I do not know how you can keep all those grands and great-grands straight. So many names to remember - that will keep your mind sharp. With all that - who needs crossword puzzles?!?!
Keep beating those odds and just bat those pretty eyes at your brother-in-law when he starts in on your ability to survive.

Congratulations from me to both of the "Tricia K's"!!!!!! You gals (uh oh, I can't remember if Andi said I could refer to women as gals or not, but, oh, well, I've been in trouble before) are awesome. You should start a club/gang and get jackets printed up and on the back it says, "The Tricia K Society" across the top and lower down, "too tough to mess with"

Happy cancerversary, Tricia! My husband and I just had our 20th anniversary 2 days ago. You see, we had to give up our independence in order to gain independence... Just like cancer treatment. Both have great pay-offs.
