Hi Joe and Christine,
I was absolutely shocked to log on and read this post. My heart goes out to you. I have had three brain surgeries in the past 2 1/2 years- one for a 3 cm met and 2 for radiation necrosis. I really thought that Christine was out of the woods with brain issues because she had been cancer free for so long. This really proves that none of us are, and it just seems so unfair for the two of you. I am truly sorry. You didn't need this. My best wishes for a speedy recovery, and hope this will be the last surprise MRI.
My thoughts are with you,
Barbara H.

Wow, surprise!

Just got the message as I was at the doctors for a non scheduled appointment today which I will update with everyone as soon as I know what is going on. It just proves that we do need routine MRI's!! At least it is small, only one and found early. Sending you a big hug, and will be watching for an update. hugs and prayers. Sandy

Thumbs up It's OVER!

So, by this time in the evening, the procedure is but a memory and the tumor has been zapped into oblivion.

So glad the lesion is small and there is no need to add insult to injury with the Decadron Drug from Hell. The side effects from that are MUCH worse than the Gamma Knife itself, which basically involves holding still with that "thing" on your head.

Bye bye tumor, hello NED.
