Question?

Hi everyone,

What's the criteria in order to be a candidate for the Vaccine in Seattle W?

I have seen women in the site who have had mets to various body parts but got a complete response with chemo, who then go onto receiving a vaccine? It
includes CHristine, our founder and many other ladies.

Can someone, please explain this? I appreciate it.

Thank you all,

Adriana

Re: Question?

Adriana,

Here's their weblink. I guess calling their toll-free number is probably the quickiest way:

Hope others who have the experience with UW Vaccine trial will chime in.

Re: Question?

Hi Adriana,

I did the trial last winter and yes, you have to be Ned. You also have to stop herceptin or other drugs you are on while you are on the trial. I think I was off my meds for 4 or 5 months while I was getting the vaccine.
