Moose Jaw, Eh? Take off hoser! Their defenders can't skate and their goalie has a five hole the size of sack of socialist flour! If you can't butterfly, you shouldn't be between the pipes.

Translation to American:

No, not moose Jaw.

Hmmmm ... this looks interesting and very difficult. I think I need
to talk to Gerri, the quiz answering fool.

Oy, Pink! Not sure I can handle such an intense quiz! How about you? I'm better with quick answers off the top of my head that take very little research. I took a quick look at Google Earth and apparently there is much more to it than click and go. Hopefully some of the other quiz answering fools will jump in and give this a go - WOS, for one, or how about Vickie H? Have you seen/heard from her? I haven't seen any posts from her lately, I'm starting to get concerned.

Lee, Bill/Lee, Evil-Lee, Spike, Sport, whatever...you have outdone yourself. Maybe if you come up with a really good prize you will get some action here. We fell for the ever elusive bunny bowl; I'm sure you can come up with an equally enticing prize for this quiz. What's it gonna be? Hmmm?

Exactly what I was thinking Gerri ... but I'm always up for a challenge.
This will be more difficult than the "Lost" quiz.

I am very directionally challenged ... will have lots of trouble with the
north/south/east/west stuff ... but I'll take a stab at it. I'm left handed
so I'm going to start at the bottom

Hope Vickie is OK and will join in ... she can take the California questions.

As for the prize (LOL) we will need a third party involved ... there is still
that problem of giving Lee etc. our address. Never forget that Gerri....

OK, I sort of get it ... I found Telus Field in Edmonton and then zoomed
in until I saw the baseball diamond ... cool ... but I think this might be
one of the easier ones ...

Pink Girl:

If you click on the Wikipedia symbol at Telus Field it will say the Edmonton Cracker Cats play there as well.

As for No. 15, it is either salt or cocaine. I'm assuming it is salt because all the Hollywood types spend their time at Cabo San Lucas.

Did you notice the search function at the upper left of the Google Earth screen? You could type in 'Abbey Road Studios' or 'Shemya Island, Alaska' and it will zoom you right to the location. If you have a scroll button on your mouse, you can zoom in closer. Be sure to click on the little blue boxes, there are a lot of answers in them.

Once you get the hang of it, the quiz is going to be pretty easy.

Good luck!

Okay Pink, this is too funny. When I was typing my response to you last night I originally had in it that I am "severely directionally challenged" and that my Garmin GPS was my new best friend. When I saw your post this morning I thought I had left my comments in - not so. Looks like we may be following in the footsteps of Bill/Lee - scary....

I'll see how far you have gotten on the quiz later tonight. Don't hold back on my account - answer them all if you can.

Good luck!

Okay, I have to admit this is pretty cool, but not as easy as Lee, etc. says. I've been at this for about 30 minutes and this is all I could come up with - I'm probably wrong.

1. You would travel southeast.

Good job Gerri!! You do go southeast to get to Paul McCartney's house. The interesting thing about that is the Beatles crossing the road on the Abbey Road album are on their way to Paul's house for tea.

Pink Girl:

You are correct! Their is a map of the world made of artificial islands off the coast of Dubai. There are also two palm trees.
