Bless you all for wishing me a happy birthday. I will tell the truth -- it was a wretched day. I am not crazy about being **. I can't even write it. I also left my job on February 3 and it was a scene bordering on abusive. I went through the terror of a cancer diagnosis. Now I'm facing a different fear of being 60 (there, I said it), unemployed and single. I scrambled for a few weeks, letting people know I'm available, getting more and more anxious. I've decided to take it easy. Work on myself and pray. For those of you who practice 12 steps, let me say that this experience brought me to my knees. I hope to hit bottom this week. Literally. I have a colonoscopy scheduled for thursday. Again, bless all of you for thinking of me. It makes me feel good.
