Congratulations! I'm glad the 2 of mine that are married both eloped and i didn't have to go through that. We just did a reception for the one and have another reception to do this summer. Hope everything else turns out okay.

Thanks Caya for your Mazel Tov and wishes. We are most excited about my daughter's upcoming wedding on July 5. What a holiday weekend that will be! I just want to get my health issues behind me so I can enjoy the next few months. We have a few bridal showers coming up, a rehearsal dinner, the wedding of course and a brunch the morning after the wedding for the out of towners. I am ready willing and able to get on with this parathyroid and possibly thyroid surgery asap so I can turn all my focus to my daughter...this is and should be her time. Hope this finds you well.

Hi Juanita, thanks for your well wishes. As for my daughter's wedding, I am happy we are making a wedding and I am enjoying every bit of the planning. It has brought me much joy and pleasure and never have I thought of it as difficult. I just wish I didn't have health issues to contend with during this time but is there ever a good time for health problems? Of course not. Hope this finds you well.

My 2 year canserversary too
Rina,
Well I will be celebrating with you too. I was Dx April 18, 2006. I will do a little moaning on your behalf. Gee your body has been assaulted. Mother's of the bride are allowed to go crazy on their own, they do not need help from medical detours. Hang in there, it sure sounds like you are dealing well with the medical "crap." I have liked that word since I learned it in Junior High many years ago.
On this April 18th, I will be celebrating my niece's 40th birthday. I like this April 18th, better than when the doctor called 2 years ago with the cancer news. I have been on this site since Dec 06, and I am so glad that Tricia Keegan found me on Komen.org and directed me here.
I love all my friends here. Cheers to all, Catherine

Catherine, sorry it took me so long to reply. I have been away from the computer for a while. Congrats on your 2 year cancerversary too. Isn't it a great feeling? I wish you continued good health and happiness. You're not kidding this April was better then 2 years ago. Plan on keeping it that way too. Just wish the doctors would stop finding things already!
