Finding recurrance early does not help?

I felt the reoccurrence both times before any testing picked it up, but I was staged at IIIC and thus wasn't totally shocked. For lung or liver, it just seems that if the chemo will work, it will work on 50 nodules as well as 10 nodules. But I'm completely non-medical, and thinking in that manner makes me feel better...

I think that for brain mets, it certainly appears to seem that regular scans will help instead of waiting for symptoms. I get an MRI every 6 months, and my onc allows this...
