I was recently dx'ed with lung mets after almost 4 yrs NED. Am on Carboplatin, Xeloda, Navelbine and Hercepton... What is Tykerb? How long did it take to wipe out your lung mets?

Connie,,,,Tykerb is the new name for Lapatinib, it should be released soon. Actually, after my 6 weeks scan my lung mets were almost gone, at the 3 month scan they were gone. I'm sorry you have to get back on chemo, I am praying I never have to go through it again...sherryg683
