Sassy, I did have a masectomy and I took percoset for about two weeks and then switched to motrin. I haven't taken anything for pain in months. I have a little pain in my ribs on day 3 & 4 after chemo, but not enough to have to take pain meds. I had some pain in my legs after the first few chemos and I found if I exercised a little it helped my legs feel better. Are you taking glucosamine? I also take that , and that is supposed to help with bone and joint pain.

Laurie,

I have not been taking glucosamine, just B6. I am going to talk to my onc about taking me off this darvoset because I beginning to think it is part of my problem and I should not be taking it. I am aware that I should not just stop without checking with him first. I will also ask him about taking glucosamine. I do walk every day and have not had any pain in my legs. Mine seems to be more around ribs and upper back. I had back problems before breast cancer, so it may be that the chemo is just aggravating it.

Take care and have Faith,

Sassy
