WOW! Am I ever surprized..Being HER2 and BRCA is considered rare, and I know of only two other ladies that are both (have been involved w the BRCA community for some time). Please check out FORCE if you have any questions you might want to discuss!

Unhappy BRCA 2 + Her2+

I just got my results - I am unfortunatly positive, I had to give the news to my sister, brother, daughter, son and his new daughter! I was so sure I was going to be negative - it was almost as big a shock as being diagnosed with BC for the first time. Yikes...
A 15% chance means just that I guess - Now I am praying my family all dodge this bullet.

Stage 3a er+(45%) pr+(68%) Her2+ (40%)
3.8 cm + .8cm multi focal - pleomorphic lobular tumors
high grade DCIS
7/20 nodes

BRCA 2
positive as of 5/07
surgeries: double mastectomy, hysterectomy (LAVH)
A/C,Herceptin for 1 year completed 11/06
femara
