PPAR gamma is one of a family which responds to fats and eicosanoid derivatives as agonists and has also been described as the fat controller.

PPAR connects to a host of genes and protiens involved in cell growth migration blood vessel formation etc.

Cystic fibrosis, cancer, diabetes and obesity are all linked through the metabolic pathways which include the availability of omega three and six.

Omega three has been shown to moderate CF.

Do I have more than a ghost of comprehension of much of the detail no but I think I am begining to get the outline of an overview.
