Mickey's MRI

Not good as usual. I dont write much. My severe borderline debilitating lymphodema makes writing next to impossible. I started xeloda and temodar for brain mets in December. After 2 months, there is some progression, but not much. I have already done WBR and Gamma. May do more gamma and have upped the drug dose. Other than lymphodema, I feel great, but I always do.

Mickey, you know I am just sick to hear this... If only.

I can't remember - have you looked at the lapatinib trial?? That would/will be my next step.

Sorry about your arm, too. sometimes everything just sucks big time.

hugs anyway,

Still on Herceptin. Saving Lapatanib as a later stone for me to throw at Goliath. Not down and out yet.

Keep fighting

Dear Mickey -
Glad you are not feeling the effects of the mets very much. Some small consolation. Lymphedema SUCKS, even the mild case I have is a nuisance - but we have to keep at it.
Also happy to hear that you have some backup plans in place.
Keep us posted, OK?
