NED Again!!!
Ok guys, 10 days post X-Knife procedure at Cedars-Sinai we are packing up and hitting the road for Telluride, CO for a ski trip.
I now consider myself NED again....this time with liver, bone and brain mets.
We had this trip planned about 6 months ago, and I want to go on with my life and enjoy it, just like we planned before this latest bump in the road in January with the appearance of a brain lesion in my cerebellum.
I plan to party hearty with our friends, there are 26 of us going, sharing condos, skiing and companionship, and ski my heart out.
Wish me well, everyone! Life goes on sometimes with a few bends in the road...

Esther,
You not only set an example for all of us on how we should look at life and illness, but also inspire us as to the courage and enlightenment. Wish you have a great ski vacation. Do enjoy yourself.

Work those new boots!
I am sure you are doing a real ballet on the slopes in Telluride with those new high performance boots!
But remember to slow down when you feel a little tired as that is when accidents CAN happen!
There are so many other things to do and see if you get a little worn out on the slopes. And I hope you brought along a good book, so you can curl up by a nice fire when you get a quiet moment.
Have a great time with your group of friends and have a hot buttered rum for me!
