Hi ladies

I too was amazed how similare my story was to many of yours. I was diagnosed in May 04, one small (1.2 cm) tumour in breast plus one positive (out of 7) node in armpit. Had sic rounds of chemo, radiation. Then in Jan 05 found 3 more positive nodes and had surgery. Now Im having weekly doses of Herceptin plus Taxotere every fourth week. Im really hoping for the best but have had some 'down' days.

Im so glad that I found this website, everything I read seems to point to the poor prognosis of HER2 but after reading these posts, I feel happier thinking that Herceptin might prevent a recurrence. Please God, we can make it through this. I have two daughters aged 13 and 14 who are very very close to me and I dread to think what would happen to them without me.
