Thanks again to everyone who responded to my post last week regarding the 'nodule' found on the CT of my head. Your kind words were greatly appreciated! I had the MRI on tuesday afternoon and my onc called that evening to say they are "quite sure" its not brain mets, or a malignant tumour of any kind. "How sure?" I asked. "As sure as we can be about anything in life" he replied. I'll take that. Anyway. The 'something' IS however blocking the right lateral ventricle so will still have to come out. I am glad of this because it will be the only way to know absolutely for sure what it is. So, next wednesday (after a nice long weekend away) I meet with a neurosurgeon to find out what the next step is...
Hi -
You have done your homework so will be well prepared for the neuro visit. I, too, would be glad to have it out whatever "it" is!
All the best wishes for successful outcome.
Christine, you must be feeling a great deal of relief, even though facing the prospect of surgery it's quite a bit less scary. Thanks for letting us know, and hope you have a very nice weekend!
hugs, Lolly
