Itching!!!

One of the symptoms of liver disease is the excessive itching due to the liver not secreting the toxins and an accumulation of bile. Also issues of cholesterol building up. There is a drug called Questran which is used to treat the skin problems due to liver failure. It has some side effects too but may help you. It's prescription only so you'll need to talk to your dr. Good ole fashioned hydrocortisone cream might relieve some of the itching. It is usually available at most pharmacies without a prescription. You might also want to consider taking some milk thistle for your liver. It is available in supplement form at most health food stores.
You might want to consider seeing a naturopathic physician who might be able to help if you have liver or bile problems. That person might not be able to cure you, but might help reduce liver distress or help you with the itching.
