Hey Vickie, Dr. sees patients Mon, Tue and Wed. Mon and Fri he does research stuff. The way my first one went was.... I saw him then 2 days of testing then I saw him again. You could go home and he would call you the results. Its better to stay there. The La Quinta has a freg and microwave... I have a list of hotes they gave me.
Oh Vicke.. look for the Fish tank I'm looking through! It's near the giant leaves! You will find it.

Re: Trip 3 to MD Anderson
Dearest Alice,
Your quote from Corinthians sustains me each time I read it. You have been such great support and I am so happy for you.
My Onc is putting off my trip to MD Anderson because my mets are now extensive in the right breast. She is getting me into a trial which they are also doing at MD Anderson, with a drug called Pazopanib. For some odd reason the mets are growing at an alarming rate and quite painful so this is one of the last options for me.
The past 5 1/2 years have been such a blessing and I am praying for this drug to work and more time here with my grandchildren. I have not posted on the other board (the main one) because I am busy deciding what is in the near future should this drug not be effective. Please keep me in your prayers. You and ellie are my two IBC sisters and I love you both very much
Md Anderson may still be in the works but right now we are getting scans, ekgs, etc to see if I qualify. I will keep you posted. Tonight I send you my love and prayers, dear sister.
Love and hugs and God's blessings,
Vickie

Re: Trip 3 to MD Anderson
My Dear, Dear , Friend Vicki, I type with tears running down my face in sorrow. I pray you feel God's promise of support in this time of Temptation, God is faithful.
I pray for your Healing and that the treatment take hold and kills the cancer in your body.
We serve a faithful and gracious God who continues to remind me through every trial to "trust in Him alone", to "not lean on my own understandeing", and that his timing and working out the details are always more perfect that anything I could figure out for myself.
I pray your 5 1/2 years of blessings with your granchildren is times 5.
My friend gave me a 800 phone number for you and me to call. It's like dial a prayer... which is a little funny to me, but she calls it all times of night and day in times of trouble. She said the people that pray with you are wonderful. 1-800-759-0700. I'm going to go and call them and pray for you right now. Now I'm crying again.
I love you my friend, Alice

Re: Trip 3 to MD Anderson
THANK YOU, SWEET SISTER,
I AM PLACING ALL THAT FAITH IN God, he knows so much more than I could ever fathom. He has placed all of us in each other's lives and I am truly blessed. I will call that number now, as the tears are running across my cheeks......
Praying for all of us this morning.
