One year NED
Today marks my cancerversay. I have been NED for one year.
What a journey it has been.
This board and its members have given me the courage and knowledge to go forth and advocate for myself.
What once seemed dark and unclear is now in the light. In the mornings, I look forward to coming to the HER2 board and seeing my students as they enter the building.
I appreciate every day. I thank God for my blessings. The smallest things mean a lot more to me know.
I confess blessings for us all today.

Tricia, MJo, Shobha,
Thank you for the kind words. Tricia, you and MJo offered me hope during the darkest time of this journey. Shobha, you started the journey just a little ahead of me. Thank all three of you for the blessings.

Caya,, Mary Jo, and Joan,
You three women are my blessing. Thank you for all the support and knowledge I have gained from you.
Mary Jo, I will never forget one rainy cold February morning last year when your post was one of the first I read. It helped me get through that day.
Caya, I did eat some chocolate peanuts.
Joan, you helped me with some decisions in December about the next type of treatment to pursue.
God Bless all of you.
