Anyone familiar with Graviola

Been doing a little reading on graviola, about it being a "miracle" cancer herb. I am thinking about taking it. Is anyone familiar with it. Not sure how much I should take...just wanted other input on thoughts?...sherryg683

Dear Sherryg -
Glad you have some internet connection, even if your other power is still out. What would we do without satellites??

Regarding your question on Graviola, if you do a simple search on this site with the word "graviola" you will get a series of posts from 2004. There was some discussion here on "alternative" therapies and graviola was one of them.

The two women who were using it both passed away in about 3 months, so most of us who were on this site at that time just decided to take our Herceptin and stay away from these so-called "cures."

One other friend of mine here had her son touting graviola to her, and after she looked into it decided not to go that route. She is still alive and doing fine on long-term Tykerb.

I am not up on any more recent information.
