Talking "Senior member, my foot!"

OK ok ok ... so I'm a bit sensive on this. I'm 58, and still "adjusting" to the idea that in some places, I'm considered a "senior citizen".

Now I noticed that my posts are being tagged with "senior member". Now you have to SHOUT it to the world that I'm OLD? GAD!!!!!!!

Janet

p.s. No, I know what it means. It just means I talk a lot (*chuckle*). But my first reaction was that above, then I started laughing at my knee-jerk interpretation. I have a feeling that I'm entirely too sensive about this (*grin*).

p.p.s. and with all the serious stuff posted here, I hoped this would give some of you a smile.

Ha! I love it... I thought the same thing about a month ago, and I thought "wow, I'm 47 and considered a senior? when can I join AARP and start getting discounts?" LOL

Smile HUmor. its a wonderful thing

There are advantages to being senior girls. As soon as I found out I got totally free checking at my bank when I turned 50, it hit me like a ton of bricks.... lucky me!
Then I went on a cruise with Royal Carib. and they offer SCDiscounts at 55. Heck I signing up for one the day after my birthday this year.
And lets not forget.... 50 is the new 40.
My mother has always told me that life begins at 40... so I guess I am only 14!
So I am 54 years young and soon to approavh the speed limit. It does not mean tho that I have to obey the speed. No matter what your age... Mark Twain sums it up the best
"Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth."
Ladies, and I love you all no matter what your age......... have a great day today!
