08-08-2008 10:41 PMharmonyAnyone ever changed chemo protocol after one treatment?
I was started on Adriamycin and Cytoxin and have had one infusion. This was to be followed by Taxotere and hercepton. After i read that the combo of Adriamycin and Hercepton has more risk for heart problems and for leukemia, I am wanting to switch to Taxotere, Carboplatin with Herceptin. Anyone ever switched?

Harmony,

I switched from Adriamycin and Cytoxin after 2 treatments in February. I did neoadjuvant therapy to shrink my tumors before my surgery. I did 4 treatments of taxol and herceptin after the two treatments. I started Taxotere, Carboplatin with Herceptin on July 31, and my next treatment is August 21.

Best of luck on the 21st....how many more trt do you
have left? You must be near the finish line with TC?
