I had a dexa scan or bone density test which showed early osteopenia after chemo. I was on Herceptin for one year. I was given the option to start Fosamex but I declined. After reading these articles I am so glad I did not start it. If I had bone mets I probably would take it.
I do hope you are doing something for your osteopenic bones, ig. vit d or calcium with weight bearing excerises despite the fact you declined from biphosphonates.
