I went in for my first MRI after WBR. I had had about a dozen or more pin size spots . Naively, I went in yesterday expecting to hear either "all gone" or "it's over , girl. Nothing we can do" Instead I was told by the doctor that he is pleased. Some disappeared, some shrunk and some have gotten a little bigger probably due to swelling. We'll take another look in 4 months. Is this normal?

Relax. It's normal. It can take up to 6 months for all the mets to disappear. Radiation continues working even after the actual treatment.

Love and light,

Lisa
