Flying solo (without drugs) is frightening. I don't think anyone handles it well. I've done it a couple times and it doesn't get any easier. Follow Jeff's lead and plead your case to stay on it. If that doesn't work, perhaps get a 2nd opinion. Maybe you can find a dr. who will keep you on it. There are many women who are on herceptin alone who do not have any evidence of disease. This is our answer to tamoxifen and it is being used as a preventative.
