Update about Foundation One Test.
My Oncologist checked up on it ( trial info states they do this test) & according to him it's only done if you fail on the trial!
He also thinks that it is not the best time to ask the patient to have the test. I had hoped that test already done & that it might have been some help now or in the future!
I guess if I want a genetic test done I'll have to pay for it myself!
Trial Info :-
In February when offered the trial, I was told I had to decide immediately as trial closed in less than 4 weeks. Have just found out trial is still open.
It is the Kate 2 trial - Kadcyla with immunotherapy drug Tecentriq (or placebo).
