Update on Paula/Cancer Fightin' Words

I had an adverse reaction to Taxol (8 mins into infusion felt weird sensation in my face and felt very ill in general, followed by sharp low back spasms and freezing chills).I don't know if it was the reaction or the IV push drugs that followed all the pre-meds I had already gotten but I had a few minutes of barely being able to express my thoughts or speak which felt scary.

This week I switched to Abraxane: 3 weeks on, one week off. So far so good although the next day I felt pretty miserable with vomiting and feeling like I was going to pass out. My balding scalp has about a hundred pimple- like sores on it. I'm glad it's not plastered all over my face. We sure do need to take all this a day at a time, or sometimes just a moment at a time is plenty, huh?
