Thanks Lani, this article has just confirmed some thoughts I have been having over the last couple of months about my own diagnosis.
For approx 18 months before diagnosis I was very stressed, tearful and down and felt I had lost (for the first time in my life) my resilience and ability to cope with problems.
When I was diagnosed the assumption by myself, family and friends was that all the stress etc had caused my bc.
I then started wondering if it was the other way round and whether a developing tumour in some way altered biochemical processes resulting in emotional changes!
Now seems this hypothesis may have some merit.
