Penelope, What you are describing sounds like it could be "sciatica". Google sciatica when you get a chance. Sciatica pain can affect the buttocks, thigh, knee, ankle, foot, & toe. It can also spread into the other nerves and affect the front part of the leg. Of course always check with your doctor but I really don't think its mets. By the way, sciatic pain can come and go just like you describe. I just hate how we have to worry about ever bit of pain we have...it seems its always something....I know it is for me. Hang in there.

10-24-09 Mass 6.4 x 4.7 cm on Rt. femur head.
11-19-09 RT. Femur surgery - Rod placed
12-7-09 Navelbine added to Herceptin/Zometa.
3-23-10 Ten days of rads to RT femur. Completed.
4-05-10 Quit Navelbine--Herceptin/Zometa alone.
5-4-10 Appt. with Dr. Slamon to see what is next? Waiting on FISH results from femur biopsy.
Results to FISH was unsuccessful--this happens less then 2% of the time.
7-7-10 Recurrence to RT axilla again. Back to UCLA for options.

Ditto.... I hate worrying, feeling nervous and uncomfortable in my own skin.

I did some stretching and my si joint popped. It seems to be a little better. Hoping it is as simple as that.
