				Hi Karen

		HI Karen,

Well, it looks like I can't go to Miraval - our home repair list just ballooned with a break in the water line from the well. :-( The money we had saved up isn't going to cover everything, so a trip like this isn't in the cards. I will, however, no matter what, plan and attend the Las Vegas trip. I wil have dates and details available soon.

Now you that are going to Miraval have to enjoy it so much more and post often while you are there so we can enjoy the trip vicariously!

Have a great day!

Donna

				Count me in!

		Hi Karen,

I'm in! How delightful to have oncologists and clinical trial coordinators who understand that the whole reason we're doing ANY of this is to have and enjoy life! Even if it means scheduling scans, infusions, and doctor visits around your spa trip!

I'm not clear; should I be contacting Miraval direct or do I give you the cc info. I didn't see the attachment on the post you said "see the attachment"

Let me know!

				I'm IN - YAY!

Whew! They still had space and honored the group rate for me today.
There are so many activities that I will have to actually study all the offerings to see how I want to spend the time there.

Maybe our group leader Karen will have some ideas, so we don't all go off in different directions the whole time, which could be easy to do!

After the incredible stress and sadness I have had this year, I can make the next months through with this "spa light" at the end of the tunnel that is 2007.

Thanks for sharing, Chrisy!

Now for the airfare ...

Maybe we could plan a get-together that would be more accessible financially for many of us at another time. I was floored when I saw those prices.

				Second Spa Trip

		Hello Amazing Group,

There will be a second spa trip planned for Las Vegas. I am waiting until January when new group rates will be in effect and we can pounce on the best deal. It should be substantially lower in price then Miraval - unless you want to do nightly shows and add ons and gamble in which case it could run into some $$$$ - but there will be many options available.

What I will book for us is a great hotel at the best rates I can find as well as discount spa packages. Then I will also get group rates for nightly shows for those that would want to participate in that. For those who don't want to go to shows, we can arrange other activities. There are also some of the most amazing things to do for free or next to free there - like the amazing conservatory at Bellagio (free), the overhead 3 block long overhead light/music show on Fremont St. (free), two major art galleries with unparalleled collections of art ($15), the best gelato you have ever had, and outlet stores, I could go on and on and on.

I will plan to get a bus that will transport us to planned events so we don't need to rent cars - it will probably cost about $10 each for a roundtrip to our event and back. I love the Orleans which is probably where we will stay - they have movie theaters (5 or 6) and bowling alleys in the hotel as well as one of the best buffets around - and we should get it for around $59 a night.

So stay tuned, more will come on this trip. It will be sometime in May most likely. As soon as I have firm dates to choose from I will post it.

Thanks for thinking about it - it will be soooooo much fun!

Have a great day!

Donna

				No Matter What....

Count me in for sure!! January was too close to the holiday company we will getting from all over. Ed has told me that "You will be going to visit the girls no matter what shape I may be in!!!!" Gotta listen to the boss right?? Anyway I am so excited to meet my Warriors and give them the hugs I dream about every night!! May or so will allow me to save a little extra for my adventure. I have never been that far west and I am really anticipating seeing you all there. I have never travelled alone that far either, not going to be scared at all! Breast Cancer so close to home has removed all of my fears for anything. Let's face it, is there anything to fear once breast cancer has entered your life??

I will be needing an update when the time comes of all our travelers that will be going, surprises from me of course! Just wanted to post this again so we can ALL start planning our next adventure!! Thanks Donna>>Believe51
