Jean, since I had the abdominal scar revision about 3 wks ago, I started getting these scattered elevated red dots like. It is not always itchy but can be at times. It radiates out from the scar, above and below by about 2 inches. I mentioned it to my plastic surgeon and he suggested getting an anti-fuungal powder, like the foot powder kind, and to try using that on the "rash", but to stay away for the incision itself. So I have been applying it on with my finger and it seems to be helping and the red spots are disappearing.
