Hi Carolyns,
I am restarting tykerb tomorrow and restarting herceptin (after 8 1/2 years on it with various chemos) next Wednesday. I'm glad to hear that your side effects aren't too bad so far. I was on tykerb last month for 10 days and once the onc gave me my 5th dose of taxotere, I was a total mess. So I stopped everything for 3 weeks and now we're starting up again now that I have recovered. But NO TAXOTERE. I'm done with that. I'm nervous about the diarrhea starting again but I am determined to make this work! Wish me luck! I'll keep you all posted on my progress.

Muldoonmom,

I wish you luck and have my fingers and toes crossed that you have very mild side effects. I am on day 8 and still have the same "system" as before and the same side effects. I wake up an hour early take my Tykerb and then go back to sleep. Wake up make a potty trip, eat breakfast, another potty trip and then off to work I go....I know too much information.

So far so good. I wish you luck!

Love, Hope, and Peace,

Carolyn

Carolyn,
Thanks for your response! I'll let you know how it goes.
Have you developed any of the facial rash? I also had that and I hope it doesn't return.

Hi Carolyn,
Are you stage 3 or stage 4. I am just curious because you are on both Herceptin and Tykerb.
What is the frequency of Herceptin you are taking? Is it once every 3 weeks?
Regards,
Rupali
