On to the next step

Well yesterday I started Tomoxifen so I am marching on, still getting Herceptin infusions weekly as well.
saw the onc yesterday and as I sat in the office waiting waiting waiting for him I had to giggle to myself as I thought of the thread on this board talking about how I do have to wait for my onc from time to time because he is taking his time with the person before me. However I never mind because I know that he is also going to take that same amount of time with me, and he did. It was a great appointment. You know how sometimes with this disease you just get tired and down in the dumps. Well I have just been there but after talking with my onc yesterday today is a better day. He took away my guilt (brought on by myself) of not working during treatment. Says it is what he prefers me to do that cancer, and the treatment of, is enough work and tiring in itself. And it is yes it is.
But my first dose of Tomoxifen was yesterday (am taking 20 mgs BID) and last night woke up with diarrhea and this morning a bloody nose.
Have a Muga scheduled for next week, so again, I am marching on.
Thanks to all for the support. And continue to march day to day.
