MIR confirms petscan

My MIR yesterday confimed what the pet scan said about my hip lighting up, also my lumbar. I had a pet scan and a c-scan on Wed. the C-scan is what showed that my lung met was again growing. These test were ordered by my radiation Dr., as a follow up to the radiation on my lung met last Nov. and Dec. Which didn't work. So now that we have all the test results I will being going back to my oncologist next week to come up with a game plan. I have reservations for the end of July for a cruise. We are taking are grown kids and 7 grandkids. I made these plans while I was feeling good and was stable. I know that my health should come first but this is really important to me. I don't want to feel bad on the cruise. I don't want my grandkids to remember me as a sickly old woman. Just last week I kept a couple of grandkids and we had a squirt gun fight and rode bikes down the hill and then I took them to a go-cart place and even road go-carts with them. I plan on snorkling with them on the cruise. This cancer is really messing up my plans. I know this all sounds petty but it's what's on my mind right now. Patty H
