Hi Cheryl,
Personally, I ride the Z train (Zoloft)...it really keeps me in check, and I am not ashamed to admit it. Whatever works. I am also a nurse and know that it takes a good 3 weeks to maintain a good level of drug in your system and feel the effects. Ativan also really helps calm me when I'm freaked out by the cancer in my life.
Also, try to not miss a dose or stop cold turkey. Its important to increase/decrease doses slowly. Good luck and I hope you feel better! Love, Janet in CT
