tamoxifen and herceptin

Hi:

I am 43 and just had a lumpectomy for multifocal BC on the right side. Both tumors were very small 1.2 no nodes, clean margins and no vascular invasion - thus early stage I. I am both estrogen (80 %) and progesterone (70%) as well as Hers 2 3 plus. I am being treated at a major cancer center in New York.
AS i am still recovering from surgery (2 1/2 weeks post op) - went to the sugeon last week and she gave me tomaxifen to start and then i see the oncologist on Nov. 14 at which time I will most likely be put on herceptin. I am wondering if anyone has gone down the Tamoxefen/ herceptain route. I realize not may people had acess to herceptain at my stage but any adice anyone can give would be greatly appreciated as I am still very new to this and have a huge amoutn to learn.
